The design of any object for its subsequent construction begins with the implementation of engineering surveys.
In order to select the correct location for the site of the facility and make technical decisions when developing project documentation and working documentation, it is necessary to have an idea of the relief and terrain conditions, to know the geological structure of the territory of the planned construction, the state of its hydrological regime, climatic conditions and meteorological characteristics and many other indicators.
It is also important to have information about the environmental situation and territories of limited nature use in the area of the projected facility in order to determine the necessary environmental measures.

JSC «Institute «Neftegazproekt» performs a full range of geodetic engineering, geological engineering, geophysical engineering, hydrometeorological engineering and environmental surveys from field work to drawing up technical reports and passing expertise.

To carry out the above works, the Institute has its own vehicles and special equipment, a soil laboratory and highly qualified specialists.

Design plays one of the main roles in the life of modern society, because in the absence of a developed project, it is not possible to build or reconstruct a single object, whether it be civil or industrial. Residential houses and office buildings, schools and kindergartens, plants and factories, complexes in oil and gas fields, roads and power lines, all this, without which our life can no longer be imagined, directly depends on the design.

Designing, as a type of activity, simultaneously requires a combination of a high level of knowledge, accuracy and responsibility with creative, and sometimes even non-standard, approaches to solving problems, therefore, people involved in design, in general, have an absolutely comprehensive development.

JSC «Institute «Neftegazproekt» develops project documentation and working documentation, main design solutions, feasibility studies, technological regulations, fire safety declarations, industrial safety declarations, reclamation projects, EIA materials, oil spill prevention and response plans, projects planning of the territory and town planning. We are also engaged in carrying out cadastral works, registration of land management documentation of any category and support of examinations.

During the construction of any facility, it is extremely important that the buildings, structures, communications and other components of this project being erected comply with the decisions and requirements adopted in the previously approved project documentation and the working documentation prepared on its basis, therefore, control over this is one of the main goals of field supervision behind construction.
However, in the process of performing work, there may be a need either to change a separate design solution, for example, due to the impossibility of implementing it in the current conditions of the construction site, or to replace products and materials based on their availability at the Customer.

All of the above changes must be agreed upon officially by the design organization that developed the project, therefore, the representatives of architectural supervision at the facility additionally are a link between the authors of the project, contractors, installation, commissioning, construction control and the Customer for ensuring operational interaction in solving production issues.
