JSC «Institute «Neftegazproekt»

The history of JSC «Neftegazproekt» Institute began in 1970. Due to the unprecedented growth in oil production in the Tyumen region at the time , the Moscow Giprotruboprovod Institute, in agreement with the USSR Minnefteprom, opened a division in the form of an integrated design department, consisting of 10 people.
Nikolai Aleksandrovich Malyushin, future Director General and President of the Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor and Honored Builder - Russia, headed the Department of Integrated Design.
Soon the department became the Tyumen branch of the Institute "Giprotruboprovod" with more than 200 employees, and since 1987 - an independent institute "Gipronefteprovodstroy" become part of the Glavtyumen Pipeline Building of the USSR Minneftegazstroy.

Gipronefteprovodstroy played a special role in the design of the country’s main oil pipelines, such as Ust-Balyk - Kurgan - Ufa - Almetyevsk, Kholmogory - Surgut, Nizhnevartovsk - Kurgan - Kuibyshev, Surgut - Polotsk, Shaim - Konda, Kholmogory - Klin, Orekhovo-Ermakovskoye oilfield - NPS "Yugan", Krasnoleninsk - Shaim - Konda, Vatyeganskoye field - NPS "Aprelskaya", Urengoy - Kholmogory, Prirazlomnoye field - NPS "Karkateevy", CPS of the Kharampurskoye, field - CPS of the Tarasovskoye field, Krasnoleninsk - Shaim - Tyumen and many others.

The designs for the gas pipelines Vatyeganskoye field - Povkhovskaya CS, Povkhovskaya CS - Gubkinsky GPP, Lyantorskoye field - Surgutskaya GRES, gas pipeline to Khanty-Mansky were built by the Institute.
In 1988, the activities of the Institute went beyond the borders of the USSR, when the Minneftegazstroy made a decision to build the oil pipeline "Western Ayad - the coast of the Indian Ocean" in the People's Democratic Republic of Yemen. This oil pipeline, 204 kilometers long, with a pipe diameter of 530 mm, passes through desert and mountainous areas with a difference in geodetic marks along the route within 1400 meters.
In 1994, the Gipronefteprovodstroy Institute was transformed into OJSC Neftegazproekt, with a subsequent renaming into JSC Neftegazproekt in 1996.
The beginning of the twenty-first century became a new starting point in the development of the fuel and energy complex and the economy of the Russian Federation, which, in turn, determined the participation of the Institute (by that time renamed the Neftegazproekt Institute OJSC) in the design of a number of large-scale and unique strategic and historical valuable projects.
One of these facilities is undoubtedly the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean pipeline system, which provides transportation of oil from the fields of Eastern Siberia through the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as for export to the countries of the Asia-Pacific region and to the People's Republic of China.

The following significant projects can rightly be attributed to the innovation at that time substations of the closed type "Imeretinskaya" (110 kV) and "Ice Palace" (110 kV) in the Adler district of Sochi, which were designed by the Institute "Neftegazproekt" OJSC during the preparation of Russia for the 2014 Winter Olympics.

These energy facilities provided electricity to the entire complex for holding sports competitions and to infrastructural facilities of the Olympic Park, the main media center, the Olympic Village, as well as communication and engineering infrastructure facilities intended for servicing the 2014 Olympics.

In addition, the Institute took part in the design of gasification of villages and settlements in the Adler district of Sochi.
Traditionally, the Institute continues to cooperate with subsidiaries such as PJSC Transneft: JSC Transneft Siberia, JSC “Transneft Upper Volga, JSC Transneft Volga, JSC Transneft Kama Region, JSC Transneft Urals, JSC Chernomortransneft, LLC Transneft-Baltic, JSC Svyaztransneft, JSC Transneft-North, LLC Transneft-Primorsk Port, LLC Transneft-Kozmino Port.
In 2018, OJSC “Institute “Neftegazproekt” was reorganized into JSC “Institute “Neftegazproekt”.

It should be noted that in recent years the Institute has managed to significantly expand the list of its clients and partners, including the largest Russian companies: PJSC “NK Rosneft”, PJSC “Gazprom”, PJSC “NOVATEK”, PJSC “LUKOIL”, JSC “Neftegazholding”.

The Institute has carried out engineering surveys and developed design documentation for an oil pipeline, 400 kilometers long, from the Payakhskaya fields to the oil terminal "Port Bay Sever", located in the Taimyrsky Dolgano-Nenetsky municipal district -Krasnoyarsk Territory. The Institute has also carried out surveys for infrastructure facilities in the terminal (acceptance point, base of fuels and lubricants, water intake for drinking and fire purposes, supply base, landfill).

As of today, positive conclusions of the state ecological expertise have been received for all objects of the Sever Bay. In addition, positive conclusions were received from the Main State Expertise for the delivery and acceptance point, the fuel and lubricant base and the landfill. The rest of the objects are at the stage of passing the Glavgosekspertiza.

A grandiose project was carried out by the Institute, tasked by PJSC NK Rosneft for the transportation of Payakh oil from the fields to the terminal, with its subsequent loading onto tankers for further transportation to the ports of the Russian Federation and foreign countries.
Also, engineering surveys were carried out for Rosneft at the facility “Oil transport system Vankor CPS – Suzun GNPS – Payakha CPS and Main oil pipeline “GNPS “Suzun” – CPS “Payakha”.
JSC “Institute “Neftegazproekt” continuous to work confidently and pushes forward under the motto: “Business Reputation. Quality and Efficiency".

We are always ready for mutually beneficial cooperation!
